Holice is a town in Pardubice District in the Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic, with a population of about 6,800. Holice lies at the crossroads of two main roads: the I/35 (the section from Olomouc to Hradec Králové) and the I/36 (connecting Pardubice with Rychnov nad Kněžnou District).

The main landmark of Holice is the Church of Saint Martin, a late Baroque church built between 1736 and 1739. Another cultural highlight is the African Museum of Dr. Emil Holub, dedicated to the town’s most notable native. Originally opened as a memorial hall in 1956, it later became a memorial and was renamed a museum in 2012.
